Ramana Maharshi in “Who Am I?” suggests that to meditate all the time, one should constantly focus on the sense of “I” or self-awareness, even while performing daily activities. This practice helps in maintaining an unbroken meditation.
On this special occasion of Guru Purnima, I extend my heartfelt wishes to everyone. May we all find inspiration and guidance from our teachers and mentors, and may their wisdom light our path.
Here are guidance to be meditation all the time:-
~Stay Present: Focus on the present moment, bringing your attention back whenever it wanders.
~Self-Inquiry: Continuously ask yourself “Who am I?” to maintain awareness of your true self beyond thoughts and emotions.
~Mindfulness: Engage fully with each task, no matter how small, and observe your actions without judgment.
~Breath Awareness: Pay attention to your breathing. This can anchor you to the present and keep your mind calm.
~Inner Silence: Cultivate a sense of inner stillness and peace, even amidst activity.
By integrating these practices into your daily routine, you can maintain a meditative state throughout the day.
